Love love this spot. Grab your raw proteins and grill it up at your table baby. Who wouldn't like that? I like being able to look at and choose my bounty, before cooking it. Pitchers of Korean beer are cold and delicious. Enjoy it. We've been back like 7 or 8X

I have visited this place on multiple occasions, both during their old location and now at the recent one. The interior is utilitarian and the space quite cramped. The staff at the restaurant were hospitable and accommodating, providing attentive and efficient service. As a Korean barbecue buffet, they offer a wide variety of selections, with most of which are of decent quality. Among the meat choices, I highly recommend trying the beef kalbi, beef bulgogi, pork jowl, and pork belly. They also have a diverse range of side dishes, I personally get the kimchi, japchae, and if you ask the server, they will provide you with lettuce. However, over the years, they have significantly increased their prices to an unreasonable amount, which makes it difficult to find value for your money. Additionally, please note that they automatically add a gratuity fee to your bill, resulting in an average total of $50-60 per person, depending on the size of your party.

$40 per adult for dinner service now. I come maybe twice a year and I'm still happy with the dining experience. The all you could eat and DIY meats buffet spread is still very enjoyable. I come primarily for the LA kalbi short rib. It's not the highest quality but it's still so good. It's a little too overly marinated in their house sauce. Wee bit too sweet but I still can't say no to short rib when it's AYCE. I skip bulgogi entirely, the pork jowls are pretty good here. Sweet, juicy and tender. The Korean style fried chicken here is still pretty dynamite on the low. We came on a busy night and a lot of the dishes towards the back of the buffet were constantly wiped out, the fries, fried rice, seafood pancake, etc. Ice cream flavors that night were mostly just plain vanilla. Service is same as usual. If you like your Korean bbq with lettuce, make sure to request for it. I wish they would change their tables a bit. Every time going in and out of our seats, I easily banged my knee into the leg of table a few times throughout the night. My knees are all bruised up from it and it happens every time we come to picnic garden too. Verdict - competition seems to be brewing in the neighborhood. We saw a new AYCE Korean bbq a few blocks down and a few more others in the area. We will give others a try and compare it back to picnic garden.

Food (4/5): Buffet selection of some hot prepared foods in addition to the raw meat for Korean BBQ on the grill. My favorites were the corn cheese, spicy sausage, spicy bulgogi, and brisket. The other options were alright and some of the meat was tough. Venue (4/5): Nice venue with a lot of space and each table had decent quality grills. Music and lights were quite loud and active. Service (4/5): I've come here in the afternoon when it's not busy and for dinner when it was really busy. The first time we got good attentive service but for the busy dinner service it seemed like they were understaffed. We didn't frequently get our grills changed, they didn't have time to come over and help cut meats, and water was infrequently refilled.
